Our Mission
American Veteran Service Corp is Dedicated with a firm commitment to all veterans in our community. We are advocates that supports all Veterans as a 501c(3) since 2013. AVSC and all services provided are free. Established and founded by Ernest McClendon as he navigated the systems as a Veteran, retiring from United States Air force of 20 years with his sister in-law that served as a claimed provider at the Veteran Administration on Pennsylvania Ave, Downtown Indianapolis for 39 years. Ernest wife Cheryl McClendon license funeral director of 42 years, founder of AVSC community outreach. AVSC was establish and continual today with our family supporting Veterans, in our 10th year of advocating and supporting all Veterans with a firm commitment, we have focused on the hard question and situation that veterans have daily, by providing one on one services with our resources, partnership and Veteran Service Officers. Our dedication goes above and beyond as advocate, we specialize in getting Veteran benefits that they deserve with a personalize focus on benefits increased for the qualified disabled veteran, affordable housing, location of a particular forms, and military records, ribbons, medals etc. We get all the hard questions answered and focuses on how we can help. We believe Veteran deserve more.

Our job placement partners, services, and career counseling initiatives aim to enhance veterans' employment prospects and economic stability. By providing tailored support and resources, we help veterans secure meaningful employment and build fulfilling careers.
Wellness
Ensuring the well-being of veterans is at the core of our wellness programs. We offer mental health support, physical wellness activities, and access to resources that promote holistic health and healing for those who have served our nation.
